Hey, I'm Aleena

I'm a senior software engineer at a healthtech startup in London. I've also recently completed a Masters in AI, Ethics and Society at the University of Cambridge, where I explored an anti-capitalist and anti-hype approach to tech

I've been working in various startups in London since 2014 - in both technical and non-technical roles. I love to work on products with a social focus, and wearing a lot of different hats at the same time. I believe in embedding accessibility in products from the start, and in maintaining a tight feedback loop with the users of products that I'm building.

I also create content on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok, where I post snippets from my day-to-day, and talk about working in tech in London, balancing work and study, and sustainable growth as an engineer
